Dilly Casserole Bread

1 pkg yeast (2 1/4 tsp.) yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 c. cottage cheese (heat to lukewarm)
2T. sugar
1 T. minced onion flakes
1 T. butter
2 t. dill seed
1 t. salt
1/4 t. bk. soda
2 1/4 - 2 1/2 c. flour
1 egg

Soften yeast in water. In mixing bowl combine cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, egg, and softened yeast. Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition. Cover and let rise until double (about 50-60 minutes).

Punch dough down. Turn into a well-greased 2 qt. casserole dish. Let rise in warm place until light, (30-40 min). Bake at 350 for 40-50 min. Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with salt.
