Wonton Chicken Salad

Warning:
Do not make this salad at midnight if:
1.You are a novice at cooking wontons
2.You live in a basement apartment, and the smoke detector is connected to your upstairs landlord.

You've been warned.....
However, if you do not heed my warning and go ahead and make the wontons anyway, here are some more helpful tips.....
1. IF you heat the oil to high, and I don't recommend it, then you toss the wontons in and they immediately turn black and smoke fills your home, simply run the smoking/burning wok outside to cool off. But it would be helpful if you slipped on some shoes, because chances are, even though its May, there will likely be snow on the ground, and your feet will surely freeze if you don't.
2. While the wok is outside smoking, run back into the house, grab a towel, and start fanning the smoking detector to get it to shut off, so the upstairs neighbors can go back to sleep.
3. Open all doors and windows and hope that your house clears of the smoke
4. Load up all your clothes in the boxes that are still sitting in your bedroom cause you're too lazy to take them back to the storage unit, and take them outside, because you will forever smell like a fried wonton if you don't.

But if you do know how to properly heat the oil to a low setting and will not burn the heck out of your wontons and will let your neighbors sleep peacefully, please cook away and enjoy this delicious salad my sister in law, Jayme, was kind enough to share with me!

*Bag of Cabbage
*Bag of Mixed Greens
*Package of Wonton Squares (cook them all, your salad and guests will appreciate it! Cut into 3
strips and fry in canola oil till just crispy)
*Bag of Snow Peas
*Green Onions, cut into small pieces
*Sesame Seeds (brown in pan or bake in oven with olive oil)
*Cooked Chicken, cut into small pieces ( I used about a lb)
*Bottle of any Ginger Sesame Seed dressing

P.S. Jayme, can I share this with everyone??
