Ramen Chicken Salad

Make this salad if the previous post was too complicated for you. It's equally delicious. I borrowed the recipe from my friend Marissa Neve.

Salad:
2 12.5 oz cans chicken, shredded
3 packages Ramen, uncooked, broken up
3/4 head green cabbage, shredded or 16 oz pkg colelsaw
4 oz slivered almonds
3 green onions, chopped

Combine all salad ingredients

Dressing:
1/2 c canola oil
2T rice vinegar
1T sugar
1/2 t pepper
1t minced garlic
3 Ramen spice packets

Whisk dressing ingredients together and mix into salad just before serving.
Serves 4 or 5.

I made a few adjustments to this salad when I made a large serving of it. I used 2 bags of shredded cabbage, 1 lb of cooked cut up chicken(cause its cheaper) and tripled the dressing, since I'm a saucy person.

Yay! I am so glad that I have shamed someone else into finally posting on this "family" recipe site. Thanks for both of the salad recipes, I have been meaning to ask you for them ever since the blessing!
