Jello Pretzel Salad

Have you ever been assigned the relish tray at a big family dinner? How about the drinks? Or even a salad? For some reason that is me! Whenever I ask what I can bring it is something really lame like relish tray, drinks, or a salad. Maybe people don't think I can cook. Maybe they have tasted my food and still ask me to bring drinks. Maybe I should re-elavuate my culinary skills! Anyway... if you have been relegated to one of these humble dinner duties this recipe is for you. You've been asked to bring a salad and when you show up with this, it will be the HIT of the dinner. Just wait, next year you will be doing the TURKEY!

2 c. crushed pretzels
3/4 c. melted margarine
2 t. sugar
1 (8oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
4 oz. cool whip
1 (6oz) pkg jello (raspberry or strawberry are the best)
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen raspberry or strawberries (depending on what jello you use)

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix together the crushed pretzels, margarine, and 2t. sugar. Press in the bottom of a 9x13 pan and bake for 8 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Mix together cream cheese and sugar, then fold in cool whip. Spread over the cooled pretzel crust. Disolve the jello in the boiling water, then add the frozen berries. Put in the fridge until cool to the touch, but do NOT let it start to set up. Pour jello mixture over the cream cheese layer and cool in the fride for 4 hours, or until completley set.
